Wide Area TrboVoice

Benefits of the Goosetown TRBOVOICE Solution

TRBOVoice’s Wide-Area Dispatch network is specifically designed for operations-critical users with mobile fleets like yours.

Wide-Area Group Communication
Our trunked network is specifically designed to allow users to efficiently and effectively communicate in a “one-to-many” environment, providing enhanced situational awareness for all users.

Robust System Design

  • Our network is designed for operations-critical users like you.
  • We have maintained a 99% uptime since inception.
  • We stock a complete set of system spares.
  • We have built-in redundancy and back-up power at all of our sites.
  • We are the only network operator with 24×7 system support and monitoring on all our sites.  We are able to negotiate specific SLA’s to meet your requirements.

Centralized Command and Control
Our network offers you the ability to dispatch each group of your fleet separately for daily operations.  During emergencies, you have the ability to connect separate groups on a common talk group and communicate from centralized control points throughout our network.  Additionally, you can monitor any talk group from any dispatch point or properly equipped mobile radio.

Easy Budgeting
Our rental program allows you to effectively plan your communications budget with single source invoicing, which includes equipment, maintenance and service all in one invoice.

One Call Gets It All
Under our TRBOVoice rental, a single call to our main number gets you install, repair, change or network trouble calls answered right away.  This allows you to keep your buses on the road and your drivers safe.

TRBOVOICE Digital Trunking Technology

Connect+ is an advanced digital trunking protocol developed by Motorola.  It is engineered to provide system operators with maximum operational flexibility and efficiency by utilizing advanced digital trunking technologies.  It offers clear voice communications over a high-capacity system scalable to meet your needs.

TRBOVoice Features

Individual Mobile ID and Mobile Network ID
Radio units on a system are assigned a Mobile Identity Number (MIN).  All units that are members of a fleet are also assigned one or more Group IDs (GRP-ID).  The MIN and GRP-ID are 16-bit assignments with a yield of over 60,000 usable ID Codes per system.

Wide Area Smart Dispatch Networking
The Connect+ system supports wide-area group dispatch from a central location.  An IP-based console is available to further improve the dispatch experience and take full advantage of system capabilities.

Automatic Roaming
With Dynamic Site Assignment, Connect+ radios may automatically roam between sites on a network and between affiliated networks without the need for the user to change channels.  Roaming radios will automatically register with the site that has the strongest signal and will only use the resources necessary at that site to complete the call.  This improves overall system capacity and efficiency.

Electronic Serial Number
A unique Electronic Serial Number (ESN) is programmed into each radio by the factory and cannot be changed by the dealer or the radio user.  The ESN can be read on command from the system.  This feature is particularly useful in thwarting unauthorized use of systems by outsiders.

High Security – ESN System Access Verification
A multi-level check prevents unauthorized users from accessing the system.  In addition, the network’s radio disable feature makes it easy to remotely deactivate a lost or stolen radio.

Time-Slot Assignment
All time-slot assignments in Connect+ radios are made directly by the system infrastructure.  Radios and sites may be added to a network and channels added to a site without the need to re-program radios.

GPS/Data Features
Basic and Enhanced GPS services are available and may be customized to fit your needs.
